MARCH IN SUMMARY

by themirrorandreflections

Hi, welcome to the third monthly review in 2025!✍️ I trust that you’ve had a great journey through March, and every experience has forged a better person in you who’s expectant about the greater things that lie ahead. Also, thank you for being highly committed to this blog. I see your likes, comments, reposts, shares, and all, and I’m indeed grateful!

Alright, here comes the review! We opened up March in a grand style with the post ‘FILLING THE BAG’. Do you remember the instance I gave, talking about the excitement of bagging a new degree that gets us posting pictures with the caption or making the statement ‘This in the bag, that in view’? Right, I’m glad you remembered! The idea of this post is to remind us never to settle with the ‘I have arrived’ mentality or stop reaching out for other bigger exploits that have our names written on them.

In the post, we checked out likely factors that often push us to the point of settling, and we got to talk about having an average performance or mediocrity mindset, laziness, having a dread of the unknown future, trying to avoid what we believe people would think or say, and also lack of clarity in some cases. I explained the above points in the post, I’d love for you to read through it to fully grasp all that was discussed.

We didn’t just check out the factors involved, we went further to talk about the solutions we can embark on as a way of letting go of this disposition. To begin with, you can go back to what has been written concerning you, and keep in mind that you were made for the nations. Also, learn to get past the people-pleasing tendency as it can get you nowhere.

Have a focus set before you, have images of possibilities around, and trust the One who has set you on the tracks. It was a lovely post, if I may say so myself. I wouldn’t want you to miss reading it, so I brought the link right here for you to access the entire post.

Our next call was at ‘FILLING THE BAG 2’, which was a means of viewing the topic through another lens. Here, I used the example of the retro trends and what exists in today’s world to emphasize the reason we should evolve, not just physically, but in all key aspects of life. We must be plugged into adequate learning, unlearning, and relearning, and our perspectives should change in a positive direction.

This can only be possible by being honest with ourselves to acknowledge what we know and do not know, and then be humble enough to have the willingness to learn from people or our experiences. Trying to prove a point by sitting with the wrong mindset is dangerous to your growth, so, I implore you not to tow that path!

Rather, embrace the lifelong process of learning! Throughout the journey, keep acknowledging your wins, but be eager to do even more because there’s more to be done. Don’t sit with your failures and mistakes. Instead, pick the lessons and move past them. Avoid filling your bag with anything detrimental to your growth. Would you love to read the full post? I have your link right here!

This last post is one that equally resonates with every one of us, and it was titled ‘THE RIGHT RESPONSE’. We talked about learning to control our responses to different situations, no matter how challenging they may seem. We recalled the times we reacted based on feelings, what the outcome was, and how bad we felt. Then, we compared those periods to the times we handled the situation better, and how relieved we felt.

We should own our response to different experiences and even in relating with people, and of course, these responses should amplify our beliefs and values. But first, they must reflect Who our Father is! Likewise, to act and speak right, we must first think right! When we react properly in our thoughts and regulate our emotions, the outward response can be better.

We also learnt to allow love to lead in all that we do and in our interactions. And in those times that we are not able to give the coolest response, we should extend grace to ourselves, and make amends. Also, it should be noted that giving the right response does not make you a coward. Rather, it calls you to the consciousness that you have an integrity to protect and you have a Kingdom you are representing. Don’t miss out on all that was discussed, kindly check here to read through everything, and you’ll be glad you did!

That brings us to the end of March 2025 in TMAR! I believe you ended the month with a testimony, a win, and a lesson. Thank you for writing this impactful piece. One major thing I re-learnt in March that I am also taking into April is the habit of intentionally letting LOVE LEAD !
