THE WRITER’S SCRIPT

“Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Psalms 139:16, NIV).

Hello to you, dearly treasured reader. I believe you won’t get tired of my rows and tons of apologies as I’ll be putting out another today. I know you’ve been on the lookout for another post ever since the last one was dropped, and I’m deeply sorry your expectation was not met in due time. Please, accept my sincere apologies.

How it feels so good to be back here! I want to extend a sincere note of appreciation to everyone who sent greetings, checked on the previous posts on the site, or supported in one way or the other. I see it all, guys!🥺 Thank you for making sure there was no web in here while I was away😁. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by well-meaning people. I love and appreciate you all.

Dear one, I hope you have been thriving well. Yes, there has been a big hit and heat in the air, and we have all been feeling it. Saying “everything will be fine” almost seems like an escape phrase these days, right? But in the real sense, we do not hope for anything else at this point other than better days. Therefore, I say to you again; All will be well.

Today, a new discussion is being brought to the table. When we talk or hear of scripts, what readily comes to mind is a write-up, be it for a play or movie. Well, we will be bringing that knowledge of a script and its adaptation into our reality, as we check out how the details of a script apply to our being and how we live daily. Let’s scroll down this page together, one word at a time.

A script is a beautifully-outlined and well-thought-out story, crafted by a deep-thinking individual for a specific purpose. There is always an intention for any script being written, it’s not just for the fun of writing.

May I remind you about something? God has written every single day of our lives as pages of a beautiful story. Every event that occurs every single day adds up to make a wholesome story. What’s more to know about this script? He put it into careful thought and consideration as it was being laid out!

You see, the Master Planner eulogy He is addressed with does not even do justice to or capture the full essence of His wisdom. He is just perfect like that! Be aware that there is no error in all that He has penned down about you, even if it feels like you are living in a mistake.

As a script is being put in place, there is a need to start looking out for actors who can embody the role- the emotions, the energy, the charisma, and all the peculiarities that have been written out for each character. In some cases, the writer already pictures the best person for the role as the script is being written. He or she sees this person as the perfect fit for that assignment.

In the same vein, God thought of the best person to live out the story He intended, the best person who can fit the Divine purpose for which you were created, and He thought of you! Hey, you’re not an afterthought! He had you in mind from the very beginning.

“Like an open book, He watched you grow from conception to birth; all the stages of your life were spread out before Him, the days of your life all prepared before you’d even lived one day” (Psalms 139:16, MSB).

What a joy to know that your days are ordained! What a relief to come to the knowledge that your unformed body at conception was seen by Him, you were seen right at the point of birth, you were seen all through the stages you’ve been through, and right now, He still sees you! What’s that title you would give Him again? Mine is “El-Roi, the God who sees me”.

In some of the books we read or the movies we see, there isn’t always a happy ending. But, guess what, He did not write a tragedy for you! Your story was not intended to be a tragedy, and it’s not going to be! He wrote you a story that bears an expected end -the future you hope for, one that captures the greatness He has called you to be.

The same way we have different other characters that interplay into a specific character’s life is the same way you are surrounded by people who are here to be a part of your life’s journey, and you a part of theirs. No one has been called to journey solo. You will meet with people whose lives you will accept positively, and who will also affect yours in the same regard.

That is to tell you that He also knows about your family circle. He didn’t just shoot you as an arrow into any kind of home, you were sent to the one that best suits the make-up you have. Who else could have given you the best environment that meets your design, if not the One that fashioned you in the first place?

Identify your company, and get to know your friendship circle. Don’t try so hard to fit into a spot that will not help you become the best you can be, or spread your tentacles as far as you should. Your inner place knows the best corner it deserves, find that circle and stay connected.

As a script and the afterward play or movie is meant to give the writer some credit for a job well done, your life is meant to give Him pleasure. You were made for His praise, and “your light is to shine for all to see, that your good works may be seen and your Father glorified” (Matthew 5:16). Think about it!

“Well said! But if my story was meant to be beautiful, why do I have these challenges? Why does it feel like I’m just experiencing sunrise and sunset without a particular destination?”, you may ask. Well, no script sits well without outlining even the challenges of the protagonist!

How does the race get interesting, and the afterward victory even sweeter when there are no milestones to cross over? Those challenges are for a season, they are not meant to last a lifetime. They are also for a reason, to help you understand the extent of the capacity that you have been endowed with.

You already have all it takes to overcome that troubling situation. You just need to have that knowledge deep-seated in your subconscious, wake up that consciousness, reach out for your inner strength and genius, and use it to your advantage.

You cannot afford to sit with it and just wish it would go away, or just decide to play the victim card for as long as you live. No, that’s settling for a lesser quality of life, and it’s not going to happen with you!

Everything you need to have a smooth journey and emerge as a Victor has been imprinted into the script, and more importantly, in your person. Your story is a source of encouragement to some people, and in your victory lies the answer to their questions. May you not fail, the same goes for me.

If you have to this point felt confused or felt like you are just on a journey without direction, I have a recommendation for you. How about you consult the Scriptwriter? He’s in the best position to put you through.

The script is His masterpiece, and so are you. You can therefore be sure that He knows what He has written in and out, just as He does you.

It’s that time to draw closer to Him and let Him guide you through the pages of the well-meaning life that he has written out for you. You cannot just decide to figure out the pages or connect the dots on your own, it’s going to wear you out.
